Gymnastics is such an incredible sport to photograph. The combination of strength, flexibility, movement, and confidence creates so many opportunities for unique images. From powerful posing to the little details that show just how much work goes into the sport. These gymnastics pictures celebrate who these girls are right now and everything they’ve worked for. And, of course, having two sisters together made the session even more fun.

We created individual portraits that gave each girl her own moment, along with images of them together that captured the connection they share both as sisters and athletes.That’s one of my favorite things about youth sports portraits. They don’t have to look like the standard photos you get on picture day.

A customized sports photography session

That’s what makes photographing it now so worthwhile.
