I love when a couple includes their fur baby in the engagement session. A dog’s presence really keeps the mood light, fun and laid back, it can help couples let their guard down in front of the camera and be themselves. Mostly because wrangling a dog for photos can be quite humorous and humbling so you can’t take yourself too seriously 🙂 I love what we captured at their session and their ability to be themselves. Looking forward to their wedding day and documenting their amazing connection!

The Herwig family is expecting a sibling for Ava in 2019 and I couldn’t be happier for them! Ava is the sweetest little girl and I know she is going to make an amazing big sister! We had some stunning sunset light for their session at Shawnee Mission park and I love the moments we captured. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday, and looking forward to the new year! Smithville engagement session – Sam & Jake

This was such a fun session in Smithville on Sam & Jake’s property and the surrounding area. So much beauty in the countryside and it made the perfect setting for their images! My favs are probably the ones by the water and the incredible blue reflection! These two are so laid back, and just plain fun to be around! I can’t wait to document their wedding coming up soon in 2019!

KC engagement session – Jordan & Joe

I photographed Jordan’s senior pictures years ago so when she reached out to me to photograph her 2019 wedding, I will thrilled to get to tell their story! These two make such a wonderful couple and I love how chill and laid back they are. It was crazy cold the afternoon of their session but you would never know it.
