I had the honor of capturing Owen’s portrait session a few weeks back and today he turns five! This brave little guy has been battling Stage 4 end stage renal disease for years. During the kidney transplant evaluation on May 20th, 2021, an ultrasound was done and a tumor was found on Owen’s liver. Blood work confirmed liver cancer called hepatoblastoma. Chemo treatment was started in the summer of 2021. His hair has finally grown back in since his last treatment (yay!) and a celebratory photo session was in order!
