I love what we captured from Frankie’s senior session, especially the ones with her red dress among the yellow sunflowers and red train car! I photographed Frankie’s sister a few years ago so it was treat seeing this family again! Frankie is also an awesome volleyball player with plans to play in college. Can you tell this is a photographer’s family? I mean hello, these kids were so good in front of the camera! Rebecca is an awesome photographer here in KC and I loved getting to capture her amazing family of 6! These kids are so well behaved, so sweet and a blast to work with. We ran around The Nelson and had some amazing light to work with. No surprise they did an amazing job being in the moment, having fun and allowing me to capture them as they are! Thank you for a killer shoot Rebecca, can’t wait for ours!

KC engagement session – Kristen & Alec

I photographed Kristen’s senior pictures years ago so when she asked me to document her wedding, I was thrilled to work with her again! These two are so easy going and fun to be around, allowing me to capture genuine and fun moments between them. I adore the images of Alec making Kristen laugh because you can really see how much these two high school sweethearts love each other! Plus, I got to photograph their adorable puppy!

Prairie Fire family session – Thurman family

As the youngest of 3 and both sisters in different parts of the country, I know how hard it come together for family photos, The Thurman family had an opportunity to capture their family together and jumped at it! It is always a pleasure working with large families but this was especially fun because Tennison plays baseball and goes to school with Connor. I love how vibrant and fun these images turned out – thank you Thurman family!

It was very very hot and humid during Rosie’s one year session but this family were all-stars as we captured such lovely moments. I’m especially in love with the naked baby photos that Laura wanted…who doesn’t love baby rolls?! Your first year of life was amazing Rosie!
